Ty Segall & Mikal Cronin
San Francisco's Ty Segall of Epsilons, The Traditional Fools, and Sic Alps fame (as well as a budding and well-received solo career) has joined forces with Los Angeles' Charlie & The Moonhearts main man (and current bassist in Ty Segall Band) Mikal Cronin for a project that combines the overlapping musical aesthetic of both members. They cut a solid and short 7" together called "Pop Song" that shows garage-y, lo-fi, frat rock goodness. In December 2009, they released their debut LP "Reverse Shark Attack" on Kill Shaman.
