Lorraine Chandler

Motor City soul singer, songwriter, and producer Lorraine Chandler was born and raised in Detroit, passing away on January 2, 2020. Claiming Otis Williams of the Temptations as a family friend and percussionist Eddie "Bongo" Brown -- a member of Motown Records' famed studio crew the Funk Brothers -- as her next-door neighbor. Chandler herself dreamed of a career at Motown, ultimately dropping out of college to pursue a calling in the music industry. Read more on Last.fm
