Karen Gwyer

Originally from Midwestern America but residing in London, Karen Gwyer is an experimental techno producer whose fluid, amorphous work often contains elements of spacy abstract pop. Primarily composed on analog synthesizers, her music is warm and expressive, with lightly tapping beats underpinning her droning, melodic synth pads and ethereal vocals. Gwyer was born in Iowa and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan before eventually settling in London. Her first release was the 2012 EP I've Been You Twice, which was issued by Patten's Kaleidoscope label.
