Prince and the New Power Generation
Prince and The New Power Generation (or NPG for short) was a group that consisted of Prince together with his 1990's backing group. They debuted on the 1991 album Diamonds and Pearls. The name comes from a song on Prince's 1990 album Graffiti Bridge, however the phrase "Welcome 2 the New Power Generation" was mentioned on the opening track of 1988's Lovesexy, called "Eye" No Read more on Last.fm
